Thank you for taking the time to read this letter regarding your student’s English Support class. Soon, your student will have the opportunity to be a digital pen pal with another high schooler in Bulgaria. These European students are enrolled in English and American Culture classes and are excited to begin corresponding with the English Support students! All emails and photos will be screened by the sending teacher before they are emailed to the receiving teacher. Students will not have direct contact with each other, rather their teacher will hand out their letter during class once they arrive. Teachers will be creating specific prompts for students to write letter based off of. Our students will have the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of a peer living in a different country and community. Learning about different perspectives on current world events will help our students learn and grow, while enjoying the process.
